Welcome! You’re about to dive headfirst into the world of home projects and organization! We’re the kind of folks who’d rather wrestle picture molding and a nail gun, than write a coherent sentence, which is why this blog exists – to share our triumphs (and laughable failures) with anyone brave enough to read.
Here, you’ll find everything from taming your bathroom closet (seriously, how does it get so cluttered?!) to embarking on the epic journey of building a full wall of office built-ins. Think Narnia, but with more power tools and less magic.
To help you navigate these projects, we’ve developed a totally foolproof rating system:
Our Completely Arbitrary (But Highly Accurate) Project Rating System
Glue Projects
Think quick, easy, and practically zero skill required. If you can open a tube of Elmer’s, you’re golden. Perfect for when you have a sudden burst of energy but only a commercial break to spare.
Sweat Projects
These are the projects that require a bit more… well, sweat. You’ll need to break out some tools, dedicate a few more hours (or an entire weekend), and possibly bribe a friend with pizza. These are for when you’re ready to get down and dirty, but still want to be able to lift your arms the next day.
Tears Projects
Prepare yourselves, for the tears category. As the name suggests, these projects will likely involve a moment (or twelve) of existential dread, possibly a few choice words, and almost certainly, actual tears. You’ll need some serious construction confidence or a strong willingness to figure things out as you go.
Ultimately, this blog is here to inspire you to get started. That Cricut you bought three years ago and never opened? Get it out! That custom spice rack that’s been haunting your dreams? It’s time to build it! Because sometimes, the hardest part is just hitting that “start” button. Now go and create something awesome (or at least hilarious).
